Prison Suitcase Escape Bid Fail! 0

In this photo taken Saturday, July 2, 2011, prison inmate Juan Ramirez Tijerina is curled inside a suitcase (looking embarrassed) after he tried to escape from prison with the help of his girlfriend following a conjugal visit in Chetumal, Mexico. Ramirez is (still) serving a 20-year sentence for a 2007 conviction for illegal weapons possession.

A spokesman for police in the Caribbean state of Quintana Roo says staff at the prison in Chetumal noticed that the woman seemed nervous and was pulling a black, wheeled suitcase that looked kinda bulky. via

Ambitious Chefs at a county fair in San Francisco recently grilled a 625pound hamburger…

Chunks were sold off at 99 cents making it the biggest commercially available burger in the world.

The burger contains a huge 1,375,000 calories and included a 11 pound bread bun, 50 pounds of cheese, 20 pounds of onions, 12 pounds of pickles, and 30 pounds of lettuce!

French artistic projection duo Thomas Chossan and Alex Mestrot of SUPERBIEN created 3D imagery featuring colourful interpretations of sea life which are then projected onto the sails of the Sydney Opera House by Sydney based projection company The Electric Canvas.

Cyclops Shark Found in Sea of Cortez 1

The shark, nicknamed “Cycloptomus” by its captors was an unborn pup that was removed from a large female bull shark captured off of Mexico in the Sea of Cortez. The shark was already dead by the time it was removed from its large female bull shark mother. If it had been found alive, it would undoubtedly spent its entire life in an aquarium.
